Next up is the Financial Disclosure Document (FDD). We provide you with some insightful financial details about Veggie Planet and ask you to review and return it within fourteen days.
Get Your Dough in Order
No matter how you're financing your Veggie Planet franchise, it's time to get your dough in order, so we can wrap things up and get into the training and setup of your new business.
Sign on The Dotted Line
At this stage, we send across our Franchise Agreement (FA) for you to check through and sign. Once agreed, our partnership is formalized, and you're an official Veggie Planet franchise partner! Congratulations!
Begin Your Training
Veggie Planet's comprehensive training is broken down into two phases. The first is at our Ontario HQ and tells you everything you need to know about making your franchise a success! We follow this up with on-site training at your franchise location so that you can prepare for the launch of your Veggie Planet business.
What's Expected of Veggie Planet Franchisees?
- Comfortable running the business side of a restaurant.
- Passion for serving consistent quality food with friendly and welcoming customer service.
- Willingness to participate in the day-to-day running of Veggie Planet full time.
- Working understanding of cost management – specifically food and labour.
What Do You Need to Own a Veggie Planet Franchise?
- Estimated initial investment of between $348,900 and $551,150
- Investment capital (cash) of at least $180,000
- Adequate credit score
What Can Franchisees Expect from Veggie Planet?
- Exclusive territory with a population of 25,000 or a 10 KM radius (whichever is less)
- Site selection and preparation assistance
- Help with local and national marketing
- Hiring and training staff
- Comprehensive support throughout the running of your restaurant from Veggie Planet field supervisors

Our franchise fee is $30,000, which is included in your initial investment of between $348,900 and $551,150. You will be required to pay a monthly royalty fee of 6% on gross sales, as well as 2% corporate marketing contribution.
